CamStreamer provides intelligent ACAP applications installed directly on Axis cameras. These allow for immediate streaming of video and audio from the camera to services like YouTube, Facebook, or other streaming platforms, without the need for additional devices.

The CamStreamer App is an application that runs on an Axis IP camera, allowing the camera itself to send video to any streaming platform. This eliminates the need for external servers or encoders – an internet connection is all that's required. Broadcast configuration is simple (via a web browser), enabling quick setup from anywhere. We provide support for streaming planning – allowing for scheduled broadcasts (e.g., 24/7 or at a specific time) and reactive broadcasts (triggered by an event).

Tailored Streaming Scenarios

We integrate our solutions with existing monitoring systems – for example, a video stream can be automatically activated upon motion detection by a CCTV system. Implementations include camera configuration, connection to platforms (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.), and API scenarios that, for instance, initiate streaming when a door opens. We also create dedicated broadcast control panels, allowing for easy camera switching or displaying graphics on the video. As a result, clients gain a fully automated and flexible livestreaming system, ready for instant broadcasting of events and reports.

The CamStreamer App can function as a "virtual encoder" within the camera – we enable the configuration of scheduled or automatic broadcasts. For example, a stream can start at a scheduled time or upon motion detection by a surveillance system. We integrate this application with alarm and monitoring systems so that events detected by cameras (e.g., unauthorized access) are immediately transmitted to monitoring centers or the internet.
